California is full of fun cities, quiet beaches, mountains for great adventures, but during Halloween, there are plenty of activities!

If you are planning a trip to the interior or exterior of California, the best prices are on !

California is full of fun cities, quiet beaches, mountains for big adventures, and of course, Disneyland. There is rarely a shortage of things to do in our state, but during Halloween, there are plenty of activities! Whether you’re looking to celebrate by running away from villains on a haunted outing or taking the kids trick-or-treating, here are these California Halloween activities.

Castello di Amorosa pagan dance, Calistoga

Napa Valley is a fun and unique place to celebrate Halloween, especially if you like to drink wine and dress up. One of the best events in the area is the Pagan Ball at Castello di Amorosa. The event not only features great wine and food, but also pounding beats from a DJ, mystical fortune tellers, and a Casino Zombie.

The Dark Harbor of Queen Mary in Long Beach

If you’ve never been aboard the Queen Mary, her annual “Dark Harbor” Halloween event is a perfect excuse to visit. In addition to being haunted, the 84-year-old ship is home to six mazes inspired by her story. If you have kids, Dark Harbor also has a family carnival with mazes for the little ones. Look for secret passages, hidden doors that lead to private rooms, and secluded bars that you’ll never find unless you stumble upon them.

Silicon Valley and Santa Clara County

Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park hosts Halloween activities throughout the month. A highlight is Halloween camping night, a rare opportunity for visitors to spend the night in the park.

Calico Ghost Town

Calico is called a ghost town mainly because it has been abandoned. This town in San Bernardino County, about an hour east of Los Angeles, hosts group pumpkin carvings, carnival games, nightly ghost hunts, and adrenaline-pumping haunted houses. To add to the scare factor, you can even make an overnight camping reservation.

Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland

Disneyland has two separate events during Halloween. You can enjoy, with your regular theme park admission, Disneyland’s Halloweentime, this is the park decorated with a Halloween theme. Then a special nightly event at California Adventure, the Oogie Boogie Bash.
